Bible studies are the core of our Women's Ministry at Bethany. Studying God's Word lays the foundation for spiritual growth as we learn to walk daily with the Lord. We offer Bible studies throughout the year, with classes held at different times and days of the week. Each study includes plans for personal study throughout the week that will help you to dig deeply into God's Word. For more information email

  • SPRING bible study: the gospel of mark

    Mondays at 6:30 PM

    or Thursdays at 10:00 AM

begins the week of February 6, 2023

This inductive Bible study will cover the second half of the Gospel of Mark. Inductive study is reading the passage in context and asking questions to derive the meaning and significance from the text itself. When studying the Bible inductively, we are after the author's original intent; i.e., what the author meant when he wrote the passage to his original audience. In this study, you will discover the meaning by answering questions about the text, carefully observing the words and context of the passage. After determining the text’s meaning, the questions and in-class discussions will help you apply it to your life.

  • Titus 2 discipleship groups

“Teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older women . . . are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled . . . so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.”

    Titus 2:3-5, 10

With these words from the book of Titus as our guide, we encourage women to study, learn and mentor others about understanding, living, and passing on the legacy of biblical womanhood to the next generation. Join one of our studies and look to God’s Word for His perspective on the character, commitments, and attitudes of godly women—and His prescribed process for helping us live out these virtues not only today, but from generation to generation.

New Titus 2 Groups are forming now and begin the week of October 11!

Using Martha Peace’s book, The Excellent Wife: A Biblical Perspective, the Women's Titus 2 Discipleship Groups will meet on the second Tuesday at 6:30 PM or the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 6:00 AM via Zoom. Groups will be limited to 10 ladies.

This full-year study is led by trusted BBC Women's Ministry leaders.
